Understanding Deleuze

Deleuze's name is associated with strange concepts (desiring machines, refrain, war machine or lines of flight). Now, these impressive notions can be explained simply, from the moment when one has the intuition which orders his work. This book gives us access to the understanding of the thread that ties the thought of Deleuze, in particular from literary characters such as Bartleby, Lancelot or the Princess of Clèves. Deleuze then appears as non-dogmatic, himself open to variation and to the invention of a multiplicity of possible meanings of life.
